Electromagnetic compatibility: T he ability of an electrical system or device to work satisfactorily in its electromagnetic environment without influencing the surrounding devices, or being influenced by the surrounding equipment.

     
Software package   A complete and integrated set of customizable computer programs or modules and possibly related material such as handbooks, manuals, and support services developed for specific purposes, and intended for application by multiple users.
     
Spectrum   Continuous sequence of electromagnetic energy arranged according to wavelength and frequency
     
Frequency   Measurement unit used to express the number of waves per second. Expressed in Hertz (Hz).
     
Monitoring   The set of devices used to verify signals emitted and received by an EUT, as well as its correct functioning.
     
EUT   Equipment under test.
